Lots of Shots!

Today we had both kids well child checks. At age 3 there is a vision and hearing component to the exam and of course Mason was not into cooperating. The lady tried but couldn't win him over to play "her games." He also didn't want to answer our pediatrician's questions so the appt. went as we expected... Jayden smiled and talked the entire appointment...it is so funny how our kids are total opposites! They both got their seasonal and H1N1 flu shots and Jayden got the rest of her 1 year shots (too many for one day if you ask me!!!) and also a finger prick to test hemoglobin and lead levels. They were both pretty sad after the appt. and Jayden crashed out in the car after a few minutes. We tried to get some lunch at "Donalds" but they were still only serving breakfast so we wasted some time at the mall and then stopped back at Donalds. Jayden again fell asleep and has been sleeping ever since. Mason has just been chillin on the couch but seems pretty tired and of course it still a bit crabby. Hopefully there will be no negative reactions to all the stuff they had stabbed into them and the vaccinations will actually work and keep them free of illness this winter. Their poor little legs took a beating today!!
