Last Wednesday we played outside for a while and Mason decided he wanted to rake the dirt near our mailbox. I know he has seen Phil do this and it was so cute how he got his gardening gloves on in preparation and then spent at least 10 minutes pushing the dirt back and forth. He definitely is going to be a "yard" guy. One of those like Phil that obsesses about his lawn being mowed, bushed trimmed and edges perfectly edged. He has helped rake the leaves from one of the three puny trees we have in our yard but didn't really understand the concept of keeping the leaves in a pile. Today he played in a big pile of leaves my dad had made for him at their house. He and Grandma Paulette had fun throwing and pushing the leaves around.
