Six Months

Today marks Jayden's 1/2 birthday. Time has gone so fast since she was born. She is such a delightful little girl. Every morning she wakes up with a big smile on her face, it is refreshing to have such happiness in the morning!! The other 75% of the house is usually grumpy so we are lucky to have Jayden to make us realize waking up really isn't that bad. She has grown and changed in many ways. Jayden is working on mastering sitting on her own (she went for 15 minutes yesterday before her head got too heavy and she tipped), she can roll from back to tummy and tummy to back (still in the process of mastering this as well), she loves to talk (babbles, squeals, and grunts) and loves to be talked to, she is very social. She is always interested in what is going on around her, who is in the room and any noises. She is a hungry little girl, she loves to eat and has started some rice cereal and yesterday we tried some peas (wasn't so sure of those!!!). Jayden loves when Mason plays with her and wildly throws her arms in excitement when he comes near. Zoe and Jayden have also already formed a special bond. Zoe will greet her with kisses when we get home from work and school and she always brings Jayden a toy (they actually play together, Jayden holding the toy and Zoe trying to tug it away from her.) We have Jayden's 6 month well child check next week so we will get the official stats then. I am interested to see where she is at height and weight wise. Jayden has been such a sweet addition to our family and the transition from 3 to 4 plus pup has been much more easy than we thought (I am not saying that I am extremely exhausted at times) and were are so blessed to have a healthy and happy little girl.

P.S. yes we do try to boost our children's self-confidence with cute sayings on their shirts
