We spent the 4th of July at home. We went swimming at my parents, the weather was warm and so was the water. Jayden loved floating around the pool. She happily kicked her little legs and splashed for probably a half an hour. Mason was having fun throwing "water bombs" and splashing around. We had an at home firework display put on by pryrotechnics master Phil. Our neighbors (who so kindly brought us patriotic cupcakes) also had a show at their home so we watched from our driveway. Mason did make it long enough to see the city fireworks from our bedroom window but fell asleep during the show. It was really nice that the 4th fell on a weekend and we didn't have to go to work the next day...it was even better knowing we had the entire next week off!!
