Happy Birthday to my Dad who turns 60 today. Last night we successfully pulled off a surprise party for him at the Martini Lounge. My mom and I had been working on getting this together for a while and it was very hard not to slip up and say anything...especially working with him and seeing him almost everyday. He was truely surpirsed and the look on his face when he realized the party was for him was great! He enjoyed himself and sported a birthday cake hat and "Party Your Ass Off" shirt from the Drs. we work with (a few of them and our office manager spent the last week in New Orleans at a meeting and picked it up on Bourbon street). My brother and sister-in-law were able to spend the night and help in getting him to our location without him having a clue. It was really fun and I am glad it all turned out how we hoped (even though my parents and Josh and Kari were only just getting their dinner when they were actaully supposed to be arriving at the party).
Happy Birthday to a wonderful Dad, Grandpa and friend. We love you so much and wish you a healthy and happy year ahead.
