While Phil is off of work and while I was still on leave we decided to go to the big city to visit a few of the attractions. We went to the Mall of America on Monday and visited the Children's Museum on Tuesday. We thought it might be quiet at both places since we went during the week but we were very wrong!! The mall was absolute chaos but we had fun and Mason loved looking at all the people, legos, and rides. We stayed overnight in a hotel by the Depot in Minneapolis and then ventured to St. Paul the next morning. The Children's Museum was a good time too. Mason enjoyed the Habitot room and all the different "landscapes", the Ball-o-rama exhibit and I think his favorite area was "Our World" and the market area. He "shopped" for a long time and was not happy when I said it was time to move on to something new and let someone else use the shopping cart! He like riding on the bus in the Our World area too. It was a nice little get-away and we were all tuckered out after the two full days. We got home on New Years Eve day...all the activity took its toll and party pooper me only made it until 10:30 on New Years Eve. Happy 2009 to all.
